hello.

About.

I've spent the last two and a half years at Deloitte keeping production infrastructure quiet. Designing AWS environments with Terraform, taming dozens of CI/CD pipelines, and wiring up the kind of observability that catches problems before anyone has to wake up.

Off the clock I ship small open-source tools that scratch my own itches: a local AWS emulator with a real UI, a self-service IDP that provisions environments over WebSockets, and an observability agent that runs from a single npm install.

I like systems that fail gracefully, dashboards that earn their pixels, and code that reads like a paragraph someone wrote on purpose.

Projects.

Three things I've shipped on my own time.

01 github ↗

MockCloud.

Built after LocalStack's OSS edition was archived. MIT-licensed, commercial-OK, 17 AWS services with a built-in console UI.

02 github ↗

Runway.

Self-service IDP. Pick a template, Terraform provisions, the WebSocket streams live.

Cloud
AWS console is muscle memory now, got cert for show off too. EC2 I've broken every fresh instance at least once. S3 versioning saved my life. twice. IAM wrote the policy. then forgot the policy. VPC subnet, route table, gateway, repeat. Lambda cold starts are my nemesis.
DevOps
Terraform I dream in HCL. Docker build, push, ship, swear, build again. Kubernetes kubectl get reality. comfortable here. Jenkins I've untangled the Jenkinsfile. you're welcome. GitLab CI/CD pipelines that go all the way down. GitHub Actions matrix builds are kind of fun.
Monitoring
Splunk I search logs in my sleep. Dynatrace dashboards that earn their pixels. CloudWatch metrics first, panic later.
Middleware
EDB specialist. anything ancient and legacy, I can work with now. Kafka topics, partitions, lag. I get it. IBM MQ queues, channels, the works. IBM App Connect 1500+ interfaces deep. ask me anything.
Languages & Tools
JavaScript daily driver since college. Shell my automation bestie. Go newest tool in the box. learning by writing. Python comfortable enough. Linux home directory feels like home. Git rebase carefully, force-push never. Postman grew up with this btw. Postgres JOIN me in suffering. (I enjoy it.)
